It is important to ensure that standard methods of analysis and appropriate presentations are used in cancer registry reports and research. Some registries have a distinguished history of use of their data in health services and epidemiological research. For others, there may be a need to enhance skills in data analysis to augment the use, and therefore also the value, of the data.
Therefore, ENCR organizes courses on statistical analysis methods which are of particular interest to cancer registries.
Three topics have been identified:
The selected topics are taught by international experts in the field. The lectures are followed by practical exercises, including usage of a suitable computer package. The teaching language is English. The courses are free of charge, while participants are expected to be responsible for their travel and accomodation.
