"Essentials of descriptive cancer epidemiology"

A 4-day course "Essentials of descriptive cancer epidemiology" is organised by the Stockholm-Gotland Regional Oncology Center at Karolinska University Hospital in collaboration with the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet.

Survival Workshop in Sweden on 1 September 2009

A workshop on statistical methods for cancer survival is organized on 1 September 2009 in Sigtuna, near Stockholm, Sweden. This is just before the meeting of the Association of Nordic Cancer Registries (ANCR). All interested statisticians and alike are most welcome to participate (up to a maximum of 30).

PREVENT WORKSHOP in Barcelona on 12-13 March 2009

PREVENT aims at modelling the impact of interventions to reduce the burden of cancer on the population level and is organised in the framework of the EUROCADET project.

The PREVENT workshop in Barcelona is the fourth of successful series, organised last year in London, Copenhagen and Heidelberg.

Participation is free of charge, but each participant has to cover his/her travel and hotel costs. The teaching language is English. Please note that the number of places available is limited to 20.
